Parentification and its effects on Latina sibling relationships

“I'm so glad you're here.

Taking the first step toward therapy isn't always easy, and it can feel overwhelming to ask for support. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, perfectionism, or feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself and move toward meaningful change.

I believe healing begins with feeling genuinely seen and understood. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where you can safely explore your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and develop practical tools that align with your values and goals. I recognize that every person's story is unique, and I strive to tailor treatment to each individual's strengths, needs, and lived experiences.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relational and trauma-informed care, when appropriate. I also incorporate mindfulness, behavioral interventions, and strengths-based approaches to help clients build resilience, increase psychological flexibility, and create lasting change.

My clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, trauma-related concerns, depression, mood disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, substance use concerns, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves while building the confidence and skills needed to navigate life's challenges.

I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Adler University, where my dissertation explored parentification and its effects on Latina sibling relationships. As a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and ethically grounded care while continuing to grow as a clinician.

Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning after time away, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and living a life that feels meaningful to you.”

“I am so glad you are here and happy you found me.

Maybe you look like you’re holding it together—but internally, things feel harder than they should. Whether you’re navigating relationship stress, anxiety, obsessive compulsive patterns, impulsivity and substance use, depression, perfectionism, work stress and burnout, executive dysfunction and symptoms of ADHD, or feeling disconnected from yourself or your partner, therapy can help you make sense of what’s going on and create meaningful change. I work with high-functioning adults and couples who want more than surface-level coping—they want clarity, connection, and lasting shifts.

My approach is direct, thoughtful, and highly individualized. I work collaboratively with patients to identify patterns, increase insight, and create meaningful, lasting change. My practice is integrative, pulling from multiple different orientations depending on the individualized needs of the patient and their presentation or diagnosis. Approaches include and are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychodynamic, Gestalt, Jungian, person-centered, Adlerian, Exposure and Response Prevention, Prolonged Trauma Exposure, and experiential approaches. I have Gottman training and utilize the Gottman method in my work with couples.

As a PSYPACT-authorized psychologist, I’m able to provide telehealth services to clients in 40+ states, offering flexibility and continuity of care. Many of my clients are busy professionals or individuals with demanding schedules, and the ability to meet virtually across state lines allows for greater consistency and ease in maintaining therapy.

Starting therapy can feel like a lot. I aim to make the process feel approachable, thoughtful, and tailored to you. If you’re ready to move forward, it would be a privilege and honor for me to connect with you.”
